"What's wrong? What are you daydreaming for?" Yang Tao asked.
"Ah, you're back." Soong Jia was surprised to find that Yang Tao had returned.
"What's wrong? "What's on your mind?" Yang Tao asked.
"It's nothing. You finished school so early today." Soong Jia asked.
"I didn't go to class today. Are you tired from studying at home? What did you have for lunch?" Yang Tao asked.
"I haven't eaten yet."
"Why aren't you eating? Don't be so busy studying. I came over to order a takeout for you, I just happen to be hungry." Yang Tao said.
"Let's go out and eat. Reading at home is too boring. I want to go out for a walk." Soong Jia said. She was originally very depressed, but after seeing Yang Tao, her mood improved a lot. She wanted to go for a walk.
"Alright, let's go to the commercial street. I haven't been there for a while." Yang Tao said.
The commercial street was a small street near Huahai University, and because there were two other universities near there, it was very popular. Although the sky wasn't dark yet, there were already quite a few people there.
Yang Tao and Soong Jia found a noodle house to eat. The noodle house tasted good and was usually filled to the brim. Fortunately, they came early today and there weren't many customers.
"Too many people have come several times. We can't even eat. There aren't many people today, so we can eat. If there aren't enough, we can still order more." Yang Tao said.
"That's enough." Soong Jia said.
"Jiajia, what happened to you? Why do you look so absent-minded?" Yang Tao could tell that Soong Jia was a bit abnormal, but he didn't ask her before. Now, he couldn't watch it anymore. Soong Jia was usually a cheerful girl, so she was obviously depressed today.

Yang Tao said with a straight face, "Jiajia, you and I are no longer strangers. I'm your boyfriend, so I should share your troubles. You saw through me when you had something on your mind and hid it from me. Do you not treat me as your boyfriend anymore?"

"Yes." Soong Jia felt a warm feeling in her heart, so she told Yang Tao about her conversation with her mother.
Yang Tao smiled and said, "Hai, it's all because of this matter."
"Hmm, don't you find that annoying? My mom is really annoying too." Soong Jia said. Being with the person she loved and not getting the approval of her family was truly annoying.
"What's so annoying about that?" Yang Tao said.
"Aren't you bored? My mom doesn't even approve of us being together." Soong Jia said.
"That might be because your mother misunderstood me. How can an outstanding son-in-law like me not like it?" Yang Tao said.
"You are so smug. I know you are outstanding, but my mom doesn't know." Soong Jia was also amused by Yang Tao.
It's fine if you just look at the conditions of that civil servant, it'll be better if you let your mother know that my conditions are better. Just talk to your mother later on, there's nothing else you can say to mother and daughter. Yang Tao said.
"How can it be like this?" Soong Jia said. After a few words with Yang Tao, she was in a much better mood.
After dinner, Yang Tao planned to go back with Soong Jia, but was chased back to school by Soong Jia. Soong Jia thought it made a lot of sense when she heard Yang Tao's words, and she didn't tell her mother about Yang Tao's situation at that time. If her mother knew about Yang Tao's situation, perhaps she wouldn't have ended up like that, so she planned to call him and explain it to him in detail.
