---

I'm on my way home from school, and it's already three-thirty in the afternoon. Well, I need to attend the academy's faculty meeting since I'm the owner, and there are some things I have to discuss and to arrange with my employees.

And I didn't have the chance to see Blair at school after she ran away this morning.

I don't know if she will still come later. But, I still need to prepare for that dinner since Cassie is here, and maybe Blair will show up, hopefully.

Earlier this morning, I called a few of my dad's servants to help me with preparing—a security guard, a gardener, a cook, a house cleaner, and the one that will change the water of the pool. Alright, they're many, actually, since my house is a bit huge.

---

"PRYCIE!!!!" Cassie shouted from my front door, and she went running to my car that hadn't even parked. And I almost bumped into her. She is such a crazy girl.

"Hey, hey, hey! Hold your horses, Cassie! Welc---" I yelled to her as I closed my car door, but she cut me off by crashing me into her big hug.

"I missed you so much! How the heck are you?" She ecstatically greeted me while not letting me go.

"I missed you too, Cassie! I'm the same as before. How have you been?" I greeted her back, and she checked me from head to toe.

"Are you sure that you're the same as before? Haven't you been more inspired right now than before, hmm?" She asked me and eyed me knowingly as we entered the house.

"Oh, come on, Cass, you must be tired from your flight. You might as well take a rest while I help Mrs. Baker to cook dinner." I told her as I put my bag on the couch and was about to head to the kitchen.

"Oh, no, no-no-no. Don't you ever not answer me, Prycie. Come on. And yeah, we are going to have dinner with your Blair, right?" She babbled while following me into the kitchen.

"Well, that's the thing that I am not sure about ever since you told me to have dinner with her," I truthfully answered her. It's just that Blair never gave me a clear answer.

"Oh, hello, Dear Pryce! Young lady, how are you? I missed you!" Mrs. Baker greeted me as she saw me walk into the kitchen.

She has been our cook as far as I have my eyes opened to the world. She’s pretty much older than my dad by about nine years. And I love Mrs. Baker's cookies. She's the best cook ever and the best baker. Yep.

"Mrs. Baker! I missed you. I've been fine. How about you? It's been three months!" I said as I gave her a daughterly hug. I missed this old woman and her cookies.

"Well, very much fine. Cassandra Williams, put that cookie back down on the plate! The two of you are supposed to eat that together." She answered and reprimanded Cassie for stealing cookies that have been newly baked.

"Oh, yeah! Right. Hehehe." Cassie sheepishly laughed while putting back the cookies down. Mrs. Baker never really lets us eat cookies without juice or milk, and we should eat together.

"Stealing newly baked cookies again, Cassie? Nothing really changes." I asked her, and I smiled at the memory that we both used to steal cookies together when we were still kids.

"That was supposed to be the both of us, Prycie." She replied, and we all laughed.

---

The afternoon went by so great. We helped Mrs. Baker to cook and arrange everything until we heard the doorbell ring.

Who might it be? Could it be the freak? Damn, I'm literally crossing my fingers right now. How great could it be if it's her? Super great!

"Alright, I'll get it." Cassie volunteered since she was done putting the dishes on the table, and I'm still about to dry my hands with a hand towel on the rack.

*Ding Dong*

The doorbell rang, and since I'm the one who's done with my job, I'll get the door.

Maybe it's Blair.

Yay, I'm so excited to finally meet her!

Prycie never ever has a crush before, and I'm sure that Blair is quite a great person since Prycie never laid eyes on anybody else before. I actually started to think that she is an aromantic person. But maybe these two are destined for each other. Like, this girl might be my best friend's match. Mmm, mates.

This Blair better not make Prycie cry, or else I'll break her face, even though Prycie did it already, twice. I will not really hesitate to use my special abilities on her.

But still, I can't get over their cute love story. From hate to like, and maybe it'll progress to love so soon. Yeeet, I'm just so excited to meet this person that could change Prycie's life and possibly change her name someday. Damn, why am I thinking about it already? This girl must pass through my qualifications before she gets my approval. But honestly, though, if my best friend is happy with her, I would be happy, too.

"Alright, I'll get it," I shouted as Mrs. Baker and Prycie are still in the kitchen.

And I decided to bring with me the last piece of the wine glass that I should place on the table. What if it's a thief or a hold upper or a kidnapper? I should be prepared, right? But no thief enters the front door and rings the bell, right? But hold uppers and kidnappers do. And I am ready to face any danger at any time of the day.

To tell you honestly, I am not just an ordinary girl. I got a secret that only I and my family knows. Well, it's a family secret. Not even Prycie knows this, and I don't know how she will react if she finds out about it. I just hope that we will still be the same and nothing will change between us.

Well, anyway, I'll just open the door to welcome whoever guests we have. It should be Blair.

"Coming!" I yelled as the bell rang again.

And when I opened the door and saw who it was, I dropped the wine glass that I brought with me because of surprise. No, it's an understatement.

"This is not possible." The only thing that I have murmured as I saw the face of the person before me.
