He slowly looked in the direction where his subordinates were, only to see how their corpses were beginning to pile up.     

The casualties were catastrophic, the likes of which the navy had never seen before, not even in the golden age of piracy, the time when Roger and Xebec ruled the seas, a time when the navy still commanded respect.     

"You have a point," Sengoku muttered as he prepared to order his subordinates to stop, but before he could say anything, something began to rise in his throat.     

Unable to contain it, Sengoku vomited blood as he fell to his knees - "Why?"     

"We can't show ourselves weak before the world" - Akainu said neutrally as he pulled his fist from his superior's body with a neutral expression on his face - "Be thankful that I left you alive."     

"You're crazy" - muttered Sengoku as he tried to get up, but it was difficult when he had much of his insides charred - ". . ."     

"Do you even know what you did, Akainu!" - Aokiji exclaimed angrily as he ran to Sengoku and tried to use his icy powers to try and soothe his pain.     

"I'm only doing what's best for the Marine" - Akainu said neutrally.     

"You're attacking a superior!" - Aokiji roared in fury as everything around him froze.     

Those present looked in the direction where the admirals were, only to be shocked to see what had happened, even the onlookers were shocked by what had happened.     

They had heard Aokiji's words and had seen how Sengoku was about to prepare to order his subordinates to stop, only to have Akainu appear behind their leader after a few seconds and attack him treacherously.     

The [Shirohige] pirates didn't wait long, they took advantage of their opponents' moment of distraction to attack with everything they had, causing many more casualties to the marine corps.     

"Smoker!" - exclaimed a beautiful and seductive light pink-haired woman - "Help Hina save as many marines as possible!"     

"Stop talking about yourself in the third person, you're too old for that crap" - Smoker said as he rolled his eyes at his companion - "But you're right, we have to save as many marines as we can!"     

Normally, Hina would be furious at Smoker's words about her age, but this wasn't the time to argue over something like that, not when their lives were at risk.     

"Why did Akainu-sama do something like that?" - Hina asked as she used her [Akuma no Mi] ability to imprison all the pirates within her reach, only for Smoker to kill them with her [Kairoseki] sword.     

"I have no idea, but honestly it's no good" - Smoker replied as he signaled his subordinates to prepare for the counterattack.     

Hina quickly did the same as the two marines launched themselves at their opponents to save their comrades from a tragic death, but before they could do anything else, they heard a strange laugh above them.     

"Kishishi!" - Moriah was riding a strange carpet made of shadows as he slowly devoured it.     

He was following Kurama's orders and was making himself as strong as possible so he could defend himself during the war.     

"It's time for you guys to feel the power of Moriah-sama!" - Moriah roared as he leaped into the midst of the enemy forces with a body that looked like it was about to explode from the enormous increase in his overall power - "Feel the wrath of the shadows!"     

Every blow he delivered caused waves of wind to appear from the enormous physical power and speed he was demonstrating.     

This Moriah was completely different from the enemy Luffy had faced, one might even say that this was his stronger version.     

"ROAR!" - Moriah's roar of ferocity echoed through the place as a huge, sadistic grin appeared on his face.     

He was elated, for the first time in a long time he was experiencing the pleasure of being a true [Shichibukai], a warrior who was annihilating everything in his path - "Shadoueria [Shadow Area]!"     

The carpet of shadows quickly sank into the ground and began to rise, creating a huge dome of darkness that surrounded everything 100 meters around Moriah, only for those inside the strange construct of darkness, to see sharp white fangs.     

The cries of despair were not long in coming.     

Moriah was enjoying this battle like a child who had just received his gift, all thanks to the fact that he knew his life was not in danger, and the advice the white-haired man had given him.     

"Shadouītā [Shadow Devourer]" - Moriah's gloomy voice again echoed in the place as the dome disappeared completely, showing how the inert bodies of the [Shirohige] pirates, were motionless with their empty eyes, but what made the situation gloomy, was that they were still alive.     

"You are more dangerous than we had heard, Gekko Moriah" - Jozu said seriously while turning half of his body into diamond - "That's why stopping you is a top priority."     

"One of [Shirohige]'s commanders, it is an honor to see that one of you wishes to measure against me" - Moriah said seriously as he felt his body pulsate slightly.     

His power may have grown drastically, but [Shadouītā] was making him barely able to contain the full force with his body, not to mention that he had to be careful not to lose focus or much of the shadows he had devoured, would return to their owners.

"Dracule Mihawk" - Vista said as he narrowed his eyes - "I didn't think we would fight again."     

Mihawk just watched the man standing in front of him.     

He was wearing a t-shirt with a diamond striped design on the top revealing part of his large hairy chest, as well as a cloak along with a top hat.     

"As talkative as ever" - Vista snorted as he grabbed his two swords and clenched them tightly.     

He knew he was no match for Mihawk on equal terms, but he could hold him off for long enough for his companions to get away from such a dangerous man.     

"No need to talk when we are about to fight," Mihawk replied as he narrowed his eyes, "Now let's see how much you have improved since we last met."

"ACE!" - the roar of a huge monster, echoed in [Marineford] as a gigantic silhouette slowly approached.     

"!" - Ace slowly looked up and noticed how someone familiar to him, was glaring down at him with a smile.     

"I COME TO SAVE YOU, ACE!" - Roared the huge red-haired green demon. He had reddish-brown hair, a necklace of three skulls, and a sakkat hanging on his back.     

"Oars Jr.!" - Ace exclaimed with tears in his eyes at the sight of the huge, but gentle giant he had befriended.     

"I COME TO SAVE MY FRIEND!" - Oars Jr. roared again as he slowly walked over to Ace.     

"Tsk Tsk Tsk Tsk, you shouldn't be so unprepared" - said Doflamingo as he appeared in front of the giant and created some sharp threads made of cloud.     

"I could tell you the same thing, Doflamingo" - said a man with reddish-brown hair who was wearing a medieval renaissance style costume.     

"Oh, just one of the commanders of [Shirohige]?" - Doflamingo asked disdainfully - "I think you are looking down on me too much."     

"Then you won't mind if I join" - said a white shark-like Gyojin as he walked over to the [Shichibukai] - "It's been a while, Doflamingo."     

"Tch, you should be at sea, you canned tuna" - Doflamingo said disdainfully as he squinted his eyes - "Are you still trying to kill me because I enslaved some of your kind? Then I have to tell you that you better get in line because hundreds want me dead!"     

"But since I'm here now, I better skip a few posts" - Namur replied neutrally as he stood at attention.     

"You fish are annoying to no end" - muttered Doflamingo as his smile became as cold as his words - "Well, you two can come against me, I just hope you've written your last words because now you won't have time."     

* * * * *     

"What are you doing, Sakazuki!" - Garp roared as he watched the admiral deliver a critical blow to his friend.     

"I'm acting for true justice, there's no way the navy will become the laughingstock of the world and negotiate with pirates!" - Sakazuki exclaimed angrily as he looked at his men - "It's time to bring those pirates to justice! No mercy!"     

The sailors looked at each other with conflicting emotions before launching themselves at their opponents.     

Garp gritted his teeth in fury as he unleashed all his Haki - "Stop!"     

The sailors and pirates paused at the enormous pressure the old naval hero was radiating, only to watch as the old marine walked in the admiral's direction.     

"Are you opposing justice, Garp?" - Akainu asked neutrally as his body radiated more and more heat.     

"This is not justice!" - Garp roared as he signaled his grandson to take Ace to safety because he had something to do.
