Extra 13: We are Pirates ~! (24)

0Another week passed since Hancock had received the news that she was pregnant, and right now she along with Kurama was inside [Amazon Lily]'s prison, not knowing what to say, after all, in front of them was none other, none other than Luffy.

"Would it be possible to know how he came to be here?" - Hancock asked as she frowned at the sight of the straw-hatted boy sleeping peacefully inside the cell.

"We haven't the slightest idea, Hebihime" - replied the blonde girl as she shook her head - "We were hunting when we heard the sound of something impacting against the ground and went to check what it was, and found this man on the spot in what appeared to be a bear-footprint shaped crater."

"That sounds like Kuma's [Akuma no Mi] ability" - said Hancock as she frowned at the memory of her former colleague - "Well, that explains how this guy got here."

Kurama was silent when he heard this because it seemed too much of a coincidence that this guy showed up right in the most sheltered place in the world.

"Did Kuma try to save this boy?" - Kurama wondered as he frowned - "And if so, why did he do it?"

"Why the fuss?" - Alvida asked as she walked beside Kalifa into the room, only to see a familiar face snoring inside a cell - "Mugiwara? What's he doing here?"

"That's what we were discussing" - Kurama replied as he frowned - "Though this is a bit worrisome."

"Why?" - Kalifa asked as she tilted her head in confusion.

She had shed her [CP9] clothes and was now wearing an outfit similar to the wild clothes of the other [Amazon Lily] women.

"I say that because this guy got through the barrier I put up without much difficulty, that means that Kuma guy, can send more people inside [Amazon Lily] without much trouble" - Kurama replied seriously - "I guess I'm going to have to create an artificial island outside [Amazon Lily] to serve as an anchor in case something like this happens again."

"What do we do with him?" - Kalifa asked as she pointed in Luffy's direction.

"For now we'll let him rest and wait for him to wake up, then we'll see what to do" - Hancock replied as she shook her head.

She didn't have much of a problem with the straw-hatted boy staying on the island, after all, she had seen his actions and knew whose side he was on.

"It's a little unsettling though" - Kurama said as he frowned - "If Luffy is here, where are his friends?"

"That's a good question" - Hancock muttered as she ordered her subordinates to search the island for other possible unwanted guests.

Two hours later, the [Amazon Lily] islanders returned with no results, it seemed that Luffy had been the only lucky one to have made it to this island, leaving his companions missing.

Hancock again ordered her subordinates to check the nearby islands, now all that remained was to wait for them to return with the news, although the group knew there was not much chance of them being there.

"I heard there's a new man on the island" - Nyon said as she walked to where Hancock was with a confused look, after all, it should be possible for something like that to happen.

"It was Kuma's ability that sent him straight to this island, so I'm going to make some modifications to the barrier and create an anchor point outside [Amazon Lily]" - Kurama replied while shaking his head - "And speaking of the guy, he's Luffy from the straw hat crew."

"Did you say Luffy?" - Nyon said with surprise as she handed them a newspaper.

Hancock took it and started to read it, only to open his eyes in surprise when he saw the headline - "This kid is a complete idiot, but one that I rather like."

"?" - Kurama raised an eyebrow in confusion, but understood the reason for his beloved's happiness.

[Mugiwara no Luffy, accused of attacking the [Celestial Dragons]]

"Heh, I knew this day would come" - Kurama said as he let out a laugh, only to frown at how the newspaper treated Luffy like the lowest trash and the [Heavenly Dragon] like a saint - "These bastards disgust me."

"That makes two of us" - Hancock replied neutrally as she nodded in the boy's direction - "If he treats those sons of bitches like that, it's possible to befriend this guy."

Kurama was about to say something else when he saw Luffy start to move.

"Where am I?" - Luffy asked after seeing that he was in an unfamiliar place.

"[Amazon Lily]" - Kurama answered as he looked at the young pirate.

"Huh? What are you doing here?" - Luffy asked as he stood up and looked around, only to notice how he was locked in a wooden cell - ". . ."

"That's what I should be asking you" - replied Hancock as she folded her arms - "You're on a forbidden access island."

"Really? Then what are you doing here?" - Luffy asked confused.

"Because we live here" - replied Hancock while looking at the boy with a frown.

"How can you live here if it's forbidden?" - Luffy asked as his confusion gradually increased.

"It's forbidden because we live here" - replied Hancock as she felt her neurons dying one after another - "Listen, we, the inhabitants of [Amazon Lily], have forbidden people to enter the island, do you understand?"

"Sure" - nodded Luffy with a smile - "But what am I doing here?"

"This will take time" - muttered Hancock while holding the bridge of her nose - "I just hope you'll give me the patience before I strangle this idiot."

30 minutes later, Luffy was finally able to figure out what was going on, only to get upset because he was worried about his Nakamas.

"Let me out!" - Luffy roared as he grabbed the wooden bars around him - "I have to find my Nakamas!"

"Listen, kid, I've sent my subordinates to look for your friends on the nearby islands, so I'm asking you to wait a few days before you do something stupid" - said Hancock while frowning - "I'm doing this, just because you beat up that pig on the [Saboady Archipelago]."

". . ." - Luffy was silent for a few seconds before nodding - "Can I at least eat some meat?"

"Sure, you could say you're my guest" - Kurama said as he snapped his fingers and made a mountain of already cooked meat appear in front of Luffy.

"Great!" - Luffy exclaimed with a twinkle in his eye as saliva ran down his cheeks - "You want to be my Nakama?"

"Don't even think about it, he's my husband" - said Hancock with irritation.

"No problem, you two can come along" - Luffy answered as he smiled at them - "Oh, I was forgetting, thanks for helping me look for my friends."

"You don't have to thank us, it's the least we can do for a friend" - replied Hancock as she snorted with disdain.

Kurama shook his head as he signaled the guards to open the gate when he finished eating.

"By the way, Nyon-san is coming to pick you up when you're done, she'll host you at her place" - Kurama said as he left along with Hancock and the others.

Luffy looked in the direction where the albino went while trying to remember something, but no matter how hard he tried, he was still confused.

A day later, the ships that Hancock had sent to look for Luffy's friends, had returned with no results.

Hancock could only shake his head when he heard this because this confirmed that Kuma had sent them to different locations.

"This is confusing" - Kurama said as he shook his head - "It doesn't make sense that Kuma would have done something like this."

"I know, I find it strange too" - replied Hancock with a frown - "Normally Kuma, kills every pirate that crosses his path, that's why he has earned the title of [Tyrant]"

"Maybe Kuma is not as simple as we think" - said Kurama seriously - "He may belong to another organization, and if I am right, he may be a member of the [Revolutionary Army]"

"Why do you say that?" - Hancock asked as she raised an eyebrow.

"Because Luffy is Dragon's son, that would be more than enough reason for Kuma to save Luffy and his crew" - replied Kurama as he started to think - "Possibly he sent the Straw Head's Nakamas to the places they could take the most advantage of to grow and strengthen themselves quickly"

"Makes sense, although that doesn't explain why Luffy came to [Amazon Lily]" - Hancock said with a frown.

Kurama had a theory when he heard this, but decided not to say it, after all, he didn't think Hancock would like the idea of being in love with an idiot who honestly didn't understand what interpersonal relationships are.
