It was both nerve-wracking and astounding at the same time.
Hanxi was the same apprentice of Andrea and the same person who aided Anton during the attack in Afghanistan. He married an Italian and settled in Florence with his wife and family.
His first son, Matteo, ended up to be Angela's husband.
Bidding goodbye, Hanxi said to Nari and Luiz, "It's nice to see you again, Nari. Say hello to your father for me when you get a chance to talk."
"Yes, Uncle Hanxi. He is probably busy with Mom. He hasn't been answering, but - the truth is, I think it's better that he does not know of the incident yet. He would go crazy and panic. He might send his entire army," told Nari with eyes widening.
"That... maybe true, but it's not necessary while we are here in the same city," told Hanxi.
Hanxi extended his hand to Luiz and said, "Luiz, it's nice to meet you again and I certainly hope you would have considered staying with us upon your return."
Nari shrugged and said, "He - he likes to make it on his own."
"Ah," said Hanxi. He leaned over to Luiz and whispered, "I know what you are going through. I also had to prove myself to my wife's father."
Pulling away, he reminded, "But in any case - if you ever need help, Luiz, you have the Bianchis and now the Riccis too."
Referring back to his wife, Hanxi added, "My wife is Isabella Ricci. Her family owns several hotels in the country." Pointing at Luiz, he added, "Just remember, while it is good to be independent, you must know when it's time to ask for help, Luiz and there is absolutely - absolutely nothing wrong with it."
"Um. I'll remember that Mr. Xio," acknowledged Luiz.
Hanxi ended up chuckling, and he said, "Call me uncle. Yeong is like an older brother to me, so any future husband of Nari is a family."
"Bye, Dad!" Said Angela. "I'll take care of Nari."
Angela and her husband brought Luiz and Nari to their home. From there, they were given two guests' rooms next to each other.
"Luiz. Here is your room and this next to yours is Nari's, but. Pfft! Feel free to go to her room anytime! Haha! Just give me an hour with cuz before you get into an action with her," said Angela.
Nari, "???"
Luiz, on the other hand, felt a lump in his throat altogether. He did not know what was with Nari's cousins. They were all unusually blunt! It made Luiz feel uncomfortable altogether, but the idea of going to Nari's room, however, did not escape his mind.
Nari first took her bath and got changed into comfortable sleeping clothes. She then heard a knock on the door and came in Angela, bringing with her her baby Enzo.
"Oh, my Goodness! He has gotten so big already!" Exclaimed Nari. The last time she saw Angela's son was not too long ago, in China. "He is so adorable!"
"Pfft! He is still sixteen months old, but yeah, time flies," said Angela.
Poor baby Enzo was carried out of his bed by his Mommy Angela, so she could brag about having a handsome baby boy.
Angela lay him on Nari's bed and Enzo merely curled like a ball. She then lay next to him and caressed his face and back.
As Nari sat next to Enzo, she said, "You love him. I want one too."
With a smile, Angela replied, "Very much, Nari. It's love at first sight. It's a great feeling to have a child. And! It's easy to make on, by the way, Nari."
Nari giggled and said, "Please. Dad will kill me."
Angela laughed with her. Her eyes panned from left to right before she answered, "Nah! Dads can't kill their daughters."
"If anything, grandparents love their grandkids," remarked Angela, thinking about her own parents, Andrea and Lu Fang. "Mom and Dad are crazy about thier grandkids."
Nari could not help but appreciate the cuteness of the boy in front of her, but after some time, she felt said. She told, "Angela, Luiz will go to France in two weeks for an internship after several months and then the rest of the year here in Italy before he officially graduates."
"Does Brie still go to France now and then?" Nari asked about her cousin from Andrea and Lu Fang.
"Yes, they do. I can tell them to guard your boyfie," teased Angela with a smirk on her face.
"You should... have the best memories with him before he leaves the, Nari. Make the best out of your time together," suggested Angela.
Putting a hand on her chest, Angela added, "I am really overwhelmed and relieved at the same time that your best friend turned out to be the man you loved, I mean, I somewhat suspected it because you were always thinking of him."
Angela gave Nari a pat on the back and said, "Don't worry. I'll never tell, Uncle Yeong. Just remember, Nari. No regrets and be responsible for your actions."
Nari wound up blushing at Angela's implication. At least, she was thinking she was suggesting something mischievous. She then shook her head and said, "No! I can never imagine Luiz going against my Dad. What are you saying, Ange?!"
Angela frowned, but then again, she understood. Luiz had been with the Yeong's care for the longest time. He would definitely not defy her grumpy uncle.
Clearing her throat, Angela said, "Nari... Have you - have you ever heard of the... the naked challenge?"
Angela had been thinking about the same challenge going on the internet and she meant to do it herself, but given the circumstance, she thought to test it with Nari.
Nari wound up Angela's first test subject.
"The naked challenge? What's that?" Nari asked with a frown.
"Let's YouTube it," told Angela before taking out her phone. "Just remember, you did not hear this from me, you just... bumped into it from youtube."
