Huo Yao tutted and raised her hand to check her watch. "You're an hour late from the agreed time. Erm. You stole the robot, right?"
Sure enough, this was Daddy. She was so smart that she had already figured out the truth!
Meng Jue cleared his throat. He could not embarrass himself now. "Of course, not! It's just a stupid model. If I wanted, I could walk away with ten of them, let alone one."
Huo Yao smiled ambiguously looking at Meng Jue.
Meng Jue veered his eyes sheepishly. He walked around the car and undid the rope on the car frame. Before long, he pulled out a cardboard box roughly half his height.
"The latest robot model is inside along with the soldering parts and tools. If you need anything else, just let me know." Meng Jue exhaled. It was hard for him to carry the box.
Huo Yao did not open the box and simply nodded. "Okay."
"Also, the system is incomplete. I will send it to your laptop in a minute." Meng Jue rubbed his hands glancing at the villa behind Huo Yao. "If it's convenient, I can stay and help you out."
"Oh! No, it isn't convenient." Huo Yao turned him down heartlessly.
"Shall I rent the villa next door? Then, I can come over anytime you need me." Meng Jue compromised.
He was dying to watch a genius at work and see what she could do!
Huo Yao inexplicably felt that he was flaunting his wealth. She expressionlessly took the tall box and turned to enter the villa.
A loud clang could be heard as she kicked the door and closed it.
Meng Jue was stunned.
Oh god. Was she still a woman?

In the blink of an eye, two days passed.
Other than checking on Huo Jinfeng at the hospital, for the past few days, Huo Yao spent all her time working on the robot in the basement at Min Yu's villa.
Even though she had teased the boy, she would still prepare a gift for him.
She was disappointed that he was not her biological family, but he was no different from real family to her.
After lunch, Huo Yao went straight to the basement.
Before long, Zhuo Yun carried a thick stack of documents into the villa.
As he set the documents down, he glanced around the living room. "Is Miss Huo busy?"
Min Yu simply glanced at Zhuo Yun.
He trembled involuntarily and stopped looking around. He got straight to work. "Count Kerr is going to offer his support to the Second Prince."
Min Yu leaned against the couch casually and crossed his legs. "As expected."
"The Second Prince has a lot of supporters." Zhuo Yun pursed his lips. "Morey is a wily old fox. He certainly knows how to keep himself safe."
"He's only clever about trivial things." Min Yu spoke in a cool tone.
Zhuo Yun thought about Morey's self-directed little drama at the banquet a few nights ago and laughed coldly. "Exactly. He nearly killed himself in the process."
Min Yu tapped his fingers every now and then and turned to ask. "How's Yang Yi doing?"
"I just talked to him in the morning. For now, Shangguan Hou has not displayed any unusual activity. Perhaps he was badly injured from the gunshot injury you gave him," replied Zhuo Yun swiftly.
Min Yu narrowed his eyes shaking his head and said, "Tell Yang Yi to keep an eye on him."
Even though he did not know what Shangguan Hou wanted from Huo Yao, he was not going to give up.
"Got it," acknowledged Zhuo Yun.
"Oh yes. Prof Min and the archaeological expedition team have come to Country M. They are currently at Blaye." Zhuo Yun nearly forgot to mention this.
Min Yu frowned. "Are they here for the legendary treasure?"
