PS I'm (not) Over You

The New CEO Is a Cocky Bastard

The New CEO Is a Cocky Bastard

0"Hey, darling. How long do you plan to keep on spying on us?" Erica suddenly asked, making the other girls silent. Ginny was the first to react.

"What? Are they on it again? We're never going to have a good night without them. Evan! You're so dead to me later," she said.

Louie smiled awkwardly, receiving glares from Rion and Eli. They were busted so soon.

"I'm sorry, honey!" Louie called out. "We will be there."

He motioned the three to follow him. Evan was cursing silently. Rion rolled his eyes; their stalking wasn't very effective. Eli just followed them without a word. Before he slipped into the other booth, he called his bodyguards to secure the area, making sure there wasn't anyone following them.

When their wives saw them, they could only snicker at their attempt to stalk them. Did they really think they wouldn't notice?

"And you really have to drag Eli and Rion with you?" Erica asked her husband.

"What? We deserve to hang out too," he replied.

"Hang out my ass. You just can't leave us alone." Ginny laughed.

The four of them sat and settled beside their wives. Ririna raised a brow when she saw her husband trailing behind Louie and Evan. What surprised her the most was Rion, the wizard, also joined them.

"Hmm… I thought you said you will be busy tonight. Didn't know that you will be busy following us instead," Ririna told Eli.

"Evan insisted on following you. Besides with all the missions and problems we dealt with the previous weeks, I think we need a little break," he said. He shifted his body closer to his wife so he was able to put his elbow on the back of the couch they were sitting on while his hand propped his head.

Ririna playfully pushed his shoulder. "You don't trust me? Do you think we will hire some stripper to entertain us?"

"I trust you unless you're drunk." Eli flatly said, which earned him a pout from his young wife.

"What? You don't even remember what you did when you were too drunk."

Meanwhile…

"You're here, too?" Sara grinned as she pulled down Rion to sit beside her. Rion sighed, wrapping his arm around her small waist and kissed her head.

"Yeah, we're your bodyguards for tonight. You can drink as much as you like," he said.

"Aww… how sweet of you. I will miss you too much once I leave," Sara said before leaning towards his shoulder.

She would have to leave him for a few months, and she wasn't so sure if she could bear the distance between them. Maybe her sister was right: she was spending too much time with Rion, but she didn't care.

They were almost one month into their relationship. Sara wondered how long her feelings for him would last. She had never felt anything like this for someone before. How nice would it feel when someone was treating and make them feel special? Rion made her feel she mattered.

She moved closer to feel his warmth. She would miss this, miss everything about Rion. While he said, he didn't mind following her abroad; she knew she couldn't just bother him like that.

"Enjoy the rest of the week, Sara. I doubt Older Brother will give you a break soon," Ginny said.

Sara cringed in her seat when her elder sister mentioned their brother. Oh, sure. She knew that the grim reaper was waiting for her to come back and fulfill her obligations to their family. He would never let her go that easily. These past three months surely made her forget about him.

She thought then that maybe once she was done with her studies abroad, he would force her to move to Central City to stay with him and their mother.

No, she wasn't looking forward to that. She would enjoy her remaining vacation with Rion before she dealt with that paperwork waiting for her at home.

"Are you okay?" Rion asked, noticing the unease of his girlfriend.

"Of course. Nothing to worry about." She was deeply worried that their older brother would find out about Rion soon. She already had a hard time defending her ex-boyfriend before and got disappointed because he wasn't even worthy of it.

What about Rion?

Would he stay with her even if her older brother pressured her to break up with him?

Lawrence Yun wasn't an easy one to deal with. Ever since their father died ten years ago, he became the pillar and head of the Yun family. He cared deeply about his younger sisters and didn't care if he spoiled them too much. That was the only reason why Sara could ditch her work and do whatever she wished, but once her brother summoned her she had no choice but to oblige.

"By the way, Aya, if you haven't still found a new job, our brother is looking for a personal assistant; but he's very picky and a pain in the ass. Would you like to try working for him?" Ginny asked before gulping down a shot of martini.

"What? Did he fire another one for this month? I swear your brother is just like the devil here. If I didn't know Eli is my brother, I would have assumed Lawrence and Eli were twins," Evan said, watching his brother's reaction—who didn't even mind him.

"Ironically, they seem too civil to each other. Have they gotten into an argument before?" Louie asked.

"Not that I know of, but dealing with those two is like courting death," Evan said.

"So… Aya, what do you think? Give it a shot." Erica winked at her.

"Salary won't be a problem, and you only need to work nine to five like everyone else. You don't have to worry about his private life or anything else." Ginny added.

"Hmm… Brother doesn't really need an assistant. A regular secretary will do," Sara commented, her eyes scanning the list in the songbook. She wanted to sing a song and have fun.

"Yes, we know about it. It is just that most of your work was passed to him, making it hard for him to concentrate on his own work." Evan eyed his sister-in-law.

Rion glanced at Sara and saw her flushing red face. He had no idea that he and Ririna were helping her stall and take most of her time during her vacation.

"We already talked about it." Sara took a slice of meat from the grill and cut it into bite sizes before trying to feed Rion. Rion could only open his mouth and let her feed him, but he really wondered if Sara was trying to make him fat with all the food she was feeding to him recently.

"Honey, please feed me, too," Louie told Erica, trying to get a kiss from his wife. Erica shoved his face away from him.

Evan saw a magazine with the Star Wars on its cover on the table and took it. His eyes widened like a child in excitement as he read the articles inside the magazine.

Louie nudged Ginny and pointed his head to Evan. "He's at it again," he told her.

Ginny fought the urge to roll her eyes. She would never understand her husband's obsession with Star Wars.

"He will never change. At least he and Sara get along well. You don't know how I wanted to strangle him to death when he suggested we name our first son Luke."

Evan lifted up his head to answer his wife.

"What? It's a great idea. Imagine when he grows up and I will tell him 'Luke, I am your father'."

Sara laughed so hard she ended up slapping Rion's arm. Erica and Ginny threw some popcorn at him in disgust.

"You're terrible! I don't even know why I married you!" Ginny huffed before taking a sip from her glass.

"You love me anyway. Look at Sara. She could appreciate my jokes." Evan wiped away the popcorn from his shirt.

At least Evan didn't read those comics Sara had. Ginny turned to Rion and called him.

"You're okay with Sara with all those Boys' Love comic collections?" she asked.

"As long as she wouldn't let me or force me to read it, I don't mind," Rion said nonchalantly. It was a part of Sara he would have to accept.

"Ririna! Why aren't you drinking? I noticed you haven't taken more than three shots!" Aya gave her another shot glass, but Ririna politely declined.

"Sorry. I can't. Skyler told me not to get drunk today," Ririna said while her husband leaned forward and gave her a non-alcoholic drink instead. She slightly nodded her head to thank him for the drink.

"So nice. You just got married. Any plans to take a break and have a honeymoon soon?"

They just recently spent their one-week honeymoon and found out about Eli and Ririna's marriage when Evan's father tongue slipped about it.

"No, not this time. We will be busy working on Han-Zhou," Ririna replied.

"Huh? You're stepping as the CEO?" Ginny asked.

"No. The new CEO is a cocky bastard. He demoted me to become his secretary." Ririna made a long face and narrowed her eyes at her husband.
