Extra 15: Dragon & Dragon Maids (30)

0Four hours later, Kurama and the others were returning to [Magnolia] without any problem.

Erza was still distant from Kurama, and no one blamed her because it was a normal reaction, after all, no matter the past, Jellal had been her friend and she wanted to save him, but that was no longer possible because Kurama had killed him.

Kurama did not apologize either because there was no reason to do so.

He had just eliminated a bastard in the world, something he was used to.

Opinions on this were divided.

Ultear and the other girls who were with Kurama, found nothing wrong with it all, not even Kanna or Meredy were disgusted by the situation, though this was due to the environment they grew up in.

Mirajane and the other members of [Fairy Tail] for their part, didn't know what to say, though they had to admit that they thought Kurama had overstepped the boundaries. This was especially the case for Mira and Elfman, who began to remember their deceased younger sister.

Simon and Erza's other friends, disappeared without a trace after saying goodbye because they had so many people to find and families to reunite.

Erza was a little hurt that her friends abandoned her in this situation, but she understood that it was the best thing for them, so she said goodbye with tears in her eyes.

"And that's what happened" - Erza declared as she looked at Makarov.

The old guild master was silent after listening to Erza's story, not knowing what to say.

"What should I do, master?" - Erza asked in confusion.

She was grateful for all that Kurama had done, however, Jellal's death hit her too hard because this was at the hands of someone she respected.

"Ok, I understand what's going on, but if I'm honest, I don't think I can help you" - replied Makarov as he indicated the red haired woman to sit next to him - "From what I can see, you feel confused, you understand Kurama's actions, but you can't stand the idea that Jellal is dead."

". . ." - Erza nodded when she heard this as she looked at the old master.

"Why do you feel that way?" - Makarov asked as he looked at the young S-ranked mage.

"Because it's not right for us to take someone else's life" - Erza replied with a frown.

"But our hands are not clean, Erza-chan, you too have killed thieves and rapists for their actions" - Makarov replied as he narrowed his eyes - "What makes Jellal different from them when he too has committed dozens of atrocities, and possibly many more that you are ignorant of?"

Erza was silent when she heard this as she bit her lip.

"Is it because you've been thinking about him all these years?" - Makarov asked as he noticed Erza's eyes widen in surprise - "Did you like him, by any chance?"

"N-No!" - exclaimed Erza as she shook her head - "It's just that I always wondered why he betrayed me, why he did all that, I wanted him to tell me the truth, to get back on the right track, so we could be friends again like before."

"I'm sorry, Erza-chan, but that's not so easy" - Makarov replied while closing his eyes - "I can assure you that I know what I'm talking about, people don't change so drastically and try to mend their actions."

"Are you saying this for your son, master?" - Erza asked as she looked at her father figure, the very man who helped her fit into the place she now considered home.

"Yes" - Makarov replied as he closed his eyes - "I have heard a few things from him to make sure he is still alive, but I know he will not return to the right path after all he has done."

"So, what do you think, master?" - Erza asked as she tried to find an answer to her doubts.

"If I'm honest, part of me wishes he would be captured and locked away forever, but another part of me wishes someone would put him out of his misery" - Makarov replied as he sipped his mug of beer with a vacant expression - "Erza, I want you to remember something, we don't just live for our desires, we also live for our families, and while, I don't approve of what Kurama did, I am grateful that his actions prevented you and the others from being in danger."

Erza was silent as she processed the old guild master's words before nodding weakly.

"Anyway, I'm not going to tell you to forgive him, or to just go and pretend there's nothing wrong with this" - Makarov said with a smile - "That's why I recommend you walk out and take your time to think about your own decisions."

"Ok, I want to take a mission" - Erza said as the guild master nodded - "Thank you, when I came back I'll have an answer to my questions."

"I feel a little strange" - Ultear said as she looked at the white haired man in front of her.

Today was her private day with Kurama, so they were preparing for a night of passion, although there was something that was going through her mind right now.

"You mean that you are responsible for Jellal's actions?" - Kurama asked as he crossed his arms.

"Indeed" - Ultear replied as she told him what had happened.

"In other words, you controlled his thoughts during his childhood and he ended up that way?" - Kurama asked while frowning - "But after thinking things through better, he let this madness take over his thoughts, I mean, I know how mind modification techniques work, so I know that after planting the thought in your victim's brain, he can struggle with this idea."

"Really?" - Ultear asked as her eyes widened in surprise because she thought it was all due to her technique, but now she understood that it wasn't as much as she thought - "I didn't know that."

"The human mind is much more complex than you suppose, so Jellal's decisions are entirely his own" - replied Kurama as he shrugged his shoulders.

"But I used a pseudo [Nirvana]" - Ultear replied with a frown as she explained the ability of that magic to him.

Kurama was silent for a few seconds while thinking about that ability, only to shake his head - "Ok, I think you're being a bit paranoid, or overestimating your abilities because that magic [Nirvana], it sounds like it's just the ability to reverse people's morality, but this is stupid because people constantly change, in one moment they may consider something wrong, but under the right conditions they can equally commit those actions"

"I guess I'm feeling a bit confused, I should either be glad that my actions were only a small push, or furious that my actions were nothing more than a joke, and me thinking I was a master of manipulation" - Ultear muttered as she snorted in annoyance, though her expression quickly changed when she felt her partner run through her body - "Hmm ~"

"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?" - Kurama asked with a seductive smile.

"Maybe?" - smiled Ultear as she hugged her partner - "But I'm going to need a lot of your attention."

"I guess I have a lot of work to do" - murmured Kurama as the two started kissing.

Ultear could feel her body begin to heat up with the mere sensation of her lover brushing every inch of her well-proportioned body - "Ah ~!"

The next morning, the family arrived at the guild and learned that Erza had left in the morning.

Kurama understood why as he sat at the counter - "Hello, Mira-chan."

"Hello, Kurama-san" - Mirajane replied with a smile - "What can I do for you?"

"The usual" - smiled Kurama as he saw how the girl was treating him normally - "I'm surprised."

"That I treat you as usual?" - Mirajane asked as she started preparing her meal - "After I got home, I understood a few things, not to mention that I'm not as innocent as I look"

"I know, I can feel a huge darkness inside you" - replied Kurama as he frowned - "It feels a little familiar"

"I guess you feel the demon inside me" - smiled Mirajane as she gave him a flirtatious look - "My magic is [Take Over (Satan Soul)]"

"Satan Soul?" - Kurama asked curiously because he kept thinking that [Take Over] magic was slightly similar to the situation of a [Jinchuriki].

"Yes, it's a demon that haunted the village where I and my family lived" - replied Mirajane as her gaze clouded with memories - "I'll tell you the story if you want, though it'll have to be another time because I don't think I can resist some memories."

"Ok, I'm going to take your word for it, and we can talk whenever you want" - said Kurama with a smile - "I'm not eager to force a girl to tell me about her sad past when she's not ready yet."

"Hmm, now I can't help thinking that maybe you're not interested in knowing more about me, Kurama-san" - replied Mirajane while giving him a slightly annoyed look.
