Saving the overbearing CEO (BOYLOVE)

Fifth World: He Gave Me His Heart

Fifth World: He Gave Me His Heart

0Wen Qinxi wasn't certain who this advice was for exactly. Him or herself. Her words touched him at a rather personal level because their situation was exactly that in the real world. He sacrificed a lot being in this game.

Not only was he bent by his boss but he was also pursued till he fell in love with him. From an outsider's perspective, he got the short end of the stick but that wasn't necessarily true.

"He, he gave me his heart," he murmured in such a way that only the two of them could hear but who was he kidding. With Qie Xieling's super hearing and Qie Ranzhe's ungodly ears, he stood no chance. They heard it loud and clear with a warm feeling spreading in their chests.

Qie Xieling leaned over and whispered, "Are you going to get married?"

Qie Ranzhe concealed a smile by pressing his lips together in a straight line while saying, "What do you think?"

The queen couldn't deal with these two anymore. Feeling rather defeated she said, "You have to go, like right now. Lin Lin come to grandma," she said beckoning him over. She placed the pendant around his neck and said, "No matter what happens you three should never come back here. Do you understand? I am just happy I got to see you one last time."

She pinched Qie Xieling's cheek before heading out the door leading them to the main hall. Wen Qinxi understood what was going on but there was no way he was leaving.

This was the reason he was in this world. He appreciated her concern but he had a boss to get out of this game before spring festival otherwise his real mother would kick his ass.

"I am not leaving," he said holding her elbow, "this is my fight too so I am not leaving."

The queen stopped in her tracks to look back at her son. She didn't want to lose him over her husband's stupidity but judging from the resigned look on his face there was no way she would be able to convince him.

Feeling rather upset she wanted to scold him but the barrier around her place was suddenly struck by a heavy object shaking the entire palace at its foundation.

"They are here... Quit being stubborn and leave!" she said but it was already too late. The demon king had a score to settle so he broke that barrier with ease dragging along the merman king.

As soon as Wen Qinxi saw the enchanting demon he quickly made a hand signal opening up a portal before shoving Qie Xieling in it. The kid didn't even have time to react when he re-appeared in front of an ugly looking undead creature snarling at him.

"Fudge!" he uttered rooted to the spot in fright. Of all the places he could land he just had to appear in this place.

He was about to take out a talisman when the creature suddenly roared in pain as a sword split it into two. The disgusting blood splashed in his face making him feel nauseous.

"Oh hey, Xieling," said Shao Lan before he jolted in surprise, "It's really you! Everyone, it's Xieling. He is back."

Qie Xieling sighed as he spat out some of the revolting blood that got into his mouth. 'What terrible luck,' he thought before he began to dry heave.

While Qie Xieling was dry heaving in the bushes with his aunt scolding Shao Lan, Miyu Ren wasn't pleased in the slightest that he swung his hand sending over a powerful mist to strike Zhao Zhi.

Qie Ranzhe wouldn't let that happen so he jumped in front of Zhao Zhi shielding him from the attack. He took the attack head-on blocking it with black calamity. Blood began to seep down from the corner of his lips painting an exquisite picture of a cold-blooded beauty.

Miyu Ren stopped when he realised he had struck the wrong person. He was writhing in anger but swallowed down his displeasure. He chuckled while glancing down at his hand with his thumb gently rubbing his index finger. "It seems you have already forgotten our deal. Would you like me to remind you... You stay out of my business and I will stay away from yours," said Miyu Ren before raising his head to stare at Qie Ranzhe with a hurt expression.

"I remember but he is my business so you are the one who seems to have forgotten our deal," said Qie Ranzhe gripping the hilt of his sword tightly like it was going to break at any moment.

"Tsk.... how troublesome," he murmured before opening up his palm revealing a dark shadow hovering above his hand. He whispered something before the dark shadow vanished into thin air.

"Here is the thing... you underestimate me which hurts my feelings so much. How about we come to a truce and I let the two of you go. Simple right? You just walk out of here and pretend like you saw nothing," suggested Miyu Ran before placing his foot on top of the merman king's head.

The merman felt so much pain like his skull was going to get crushed at any moment. He couldn't understand why his sons hadn't come to rescue him yet. A feeling of urgency overwhelmed him as death was knocking on his door. He looked around and saw his son. His firstborn standing there right beside his wife.

He gritted his teeth unwilling to call out to him. His pride wouldn't let him do that but the pressure on the side of his head increased causing him to toss his pride out of the window. "Lian-er do something. Help me," he said in a muffled voice while fighting through the pain.

"It wasn't me. Your mother lied to you. It, it was all her doing. She suggested I give you away... Don't believe whatever that bitch said. All this was her plan and she framed me. Help your father, okay?" he said shamelessly spinning a web of lies. He was so desperate and one could understand why. His face was bleeding from all three of the seven orifices with an audible cracking sound.

"Hahahaha!... Wow, a man would do anything to save himself. What a shame because not even your son can save you now," said Miyu Ren in haughty laughter.

As soon as he said this an entourage of people seven brothers to be exact entered the palace. They were guards outside providing the princes with protection but they had seriously underestimated Miyu Ren because if they knew what he was capable of they would have run away and saved themselves instead.

The merman king was relieved to see rescue but was it rescue or something else? He would find out soon enough.
