Saving the overbearing CEO (BOYLOVE)

0Wen Qinxi can be counted as a genius in his field but he had never been this confused in his entire life. In just a short span of time he had gone through a rollercoaster of emotions and subjected to so much stimulation that left him in a haze.     0

He had gone through the pain of watching someone he loved die, he had also killed Zhao Huangzhi only to be in an entirely different world thirty minutes later with Zhao Huangzhi alive and well. It would be safe to say he was emotionally unstable.     

Once he had the giant beautiful goddess standing in front of him mention Zhao Huangzhi, he completely lost it and abruptly stood up asking, "Where is she?"     

Airen seemed confused by his question but didn't investigate it further saying, "She's in the most luxurious suite. I did as you said but Xiao-didi what's wrong? Why the sudden change in heart?"     

She was saying all this but Wen Qinxi wasn't listening marching out of the room while saying, "Lead the way." All he could think of was he had to kill Zhao Huangzhi. He wasn't going to repeat the same mistake from previous world and cut the saplings before it grew roots. He was resolute in his decision with a murderous aura surrounding him but the system began to panic trying to change his mind.     

'Boss you can't do that. If you do that you won't be able to pass this world that is if Qie Ranzhe doesn't kill you first," said the system trying to speak fast.     

This had Wen Qinxi halt in his footsteps trembling in anger tightly clenching his fist. 'Why?' he asked in a hesitant tone uncertain if he wanted to know the answer.     

'They....they're dating,' said the system fairly aware of the consequences.     

Wen Qinxi felt like he had been struck by lightning with his chest tightening followed by a piercing pain like someone had stabbed his heart with a knife. How could he be this unlucky? How was he supposed to survive this world? He felt both pain and jealousy but for some reason this body amplified the pain to such a point that he swung his fist into the wall living a big dent. This method of handling emotional pain by distracting oneself with physical pain was not a foreign concept for Wen Qinxi but he the King of algophobes would never do such a thing.     

He could feel the pain but for some reason he kept a straight face like this body was used to it. 'Boss, are you okay? Don't go to her first let me give you the game files,' said the system crossing its fingers.     

Wen Qinxi agreed asking Airen to take him to his room and as soon as she left he sat at the edge of the bed staring blankly at his trembling hand that was bruised at the knuckles.     

"Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse. Hahaha...wow so fuckin messed up," he said his eyes already misty with tears. This kind of mad laughter made the system cringe as it finally regained its authority and shared the game files.     

"Here just read these then we can figure out a plan, okay?" said the system that didn't know how to deal with such a situation.     

Wen Qinxi rubbed his face in frustration before pushing back his hair to read this world's scenario.     

Over half a century ago earth was struck by a meteorite the size of a pyramid but this meteorite wasn't just a regular piece of rock. It contained biological material that dispersed when the meteorite exploded killing people within 11, 875 square kilometers (4585 square miles) radius reducing an entire city to ash.     

The biological material spread globally infecting everyone with a small population dying while the rest mutated into beastkins with the ability to transform into an animal form according to their mutation. To prevent the population from going feral and losing all their sense of rationality a drug was invented to solve the problem and for a person to maintain their human form special energy stones were carved in the shape of the animal a person transforms to somewhat restoring normalcy.     

This though wasn't the only problem. The planet was dying because of the foreign substance tainting the atmosphere and various countries that had survived the calamity when the meteorite struck scrambled for a solution. It took a genius but mostly mad scientist to stabilise the atmosphere by building a Geostation on earth's highest peak above sea level with a forged crystal extracted from remains of the meteorite to stabilise the atmosphere and keep earth from becoming an inhabitable planet.     

For thirty five years the planet and its people adapted to the new way of life that is until the now dismissed mad scientist stole the crystal. How did he do it? It all began when Qie Ranzhe the son of President Qie the leader of the newly United earth met Feng Zi a presumably orphaned kid at school. These two hit it off and became bestfriends. This friendship could be best described as sworn brothers that is until high school when the unbreakable friendship began to form cracks because these two fell in love with the same girl, Zhao Huangzhi.     

The two friends began to compete with each other for her but Zhao Huangzhi decided to play blind leaving behind a hazy boundary which meant these two would foolishly do anything to please her while straining their friendship. This endless battle carried on till senior year of high school when Feng Zi got Qie Ranzhe drunk and acquired secure codes for the Geostation which he gave to his estranged father Feng Yu aka mad scientist to steal the very same crystal holding earth's atmosphere together.     

That day Feng Zi disappeared from Qie Ranzhe's life but that wasn't the issue. The problem was that President Qie blamed Qie Ranzhe for being careless and dooming the entire world. Determined to right his wrongs he upped in ranks in the military searching for Feng Zi and Feng Yu to get back the crystal. The end result was that he killed Feng Zi in rage and didn't manage to retrieve the crystal from Feng Yu. As the world crumbled its citizens asked for someone to be punished for this and to appease the people, President Qie publicly executed his son which was pointless because the atmosphere still deteriorated killing everyone.     

From this piece of information, Wen Qinxi could already tell which character he was as the memories of Feng Zi flooded his memory. This explained why he had kidnapped Zhao Huangzhi intending to imprison her. The little psycho Feng Zi was trying to win that vile women's heart. Oh, yes Feng Zi was as crazy as his father. He was a bonafide psychopath which was part of his skill set.      

"Ai....this world isn't going to easy Boss. Oh, by the way don't be surprised if you do certain things without thinking i-,"     

"Like what?" asked Wen Qinxi interrupting the system. The universe seemed to be punishing him for having the time of his life in the second world. This world was off to a bad start.     

"Well, like punching walls, threatening people with a gun on impulse or killing people at ease. It's.....um.....a character setting," said the nervous Jolie, "You are going to offend a few people in this world so be careful."     

"Haven't I offended everyone already?" he said with a sarcastic tone.     

"Fair point.....wait where are you going?" asked the system as soon as Wen Qinxi stood up heading towards the door. This character was more to the extreme end of the scale when compared with Lin Jingxie and Zhao Xieshu.
