She came to the law firm today to brand Soomin as a mistress and crush her dreams of being a Sun altogether.
Two years before her husband was promoted as the director, they were both eyed for the same position. However, Doctor Vera Wong gave up her chances because she loved her better half. Despite her dedication to her husband, however, he cheated on her.
Her husband's office sometimes smelled of his cum that it gave her chills. It obviously wasn't her.
Unfortunately for Doctor Vera, she could not catch her husband in the act, nor did she learn who her husband was sleeping around with. It was because she was also busy with her career that she did not have the time to follow him around.
Months before, she hired a private investigator.
Her husband's office had been completely bugged, for when his act of adultery would happen again. It was then when she learned about Soomin, who happened to meet with Doctor Leo Wong, offering a bribe for her request.
It was from inside the investigator's office that Doctor Vera cringed at the sight of her husband banging Soomin on the desk. She became determined to get back on her husband and the woman in the video, but just as her mind was still formulating a plan, the investigator gave her the chance of a lifetime.
"Doctor Vera, actually I have been approached by Anton Yeong's men. They saw me spying on your husband once. They were apparently investigating this woman as well. They are asking for your cooperation and in return, they will find a way to remove your husband in the position and file a lawsuit against him... and this woman on the video."
She did not have to give it a second thought. She agreed on that very same day.
Back in the conference room, the doctor acted to have a realization. She said, "I knew you looked too familiar! You were that girl spreading her legs for my husband inside his office! The mistress!" The doctor revealed with her eyes widening.
The accusations went on for minutes, but Soomin was in denial of everything. She was staring at the DNA result and screamed, "No! This isn't true! I am not having an affair with your husband! I swear on my life!"
The doctor was left with no choice. She reached for her bag and threw across Soomin's direction; pictures of her spreading her legs, butt-naked in the former director's desk.
There were different angles for when she had been pounded that day. Some were pictures of her being banged from behind while others were images of her giving Doctor Leo a lip service.
"Deny that if you can!" Said Doctor Vera.
The shock in Jeong Daejeon's face became apparent. His hands trembled as he reached for one picture. He turned to his daughter and asked, "What - what is going on, Soomin? Answer me!"
"It's very simple! Your daughter is a tramp! A homewrecker! A mistress!" Announced Doctor Vera. She managed to make her way to Soomin and gave her a good slap on the face. She slapped Soomin so hard that her entire torso swung to the left.
Soomin's mother was enraged, and she countered, "This is fake! These pictures aren't real - "
"I have a video too if you'd like. They fucked for more than two hours! Gotta hand it to your daughter, she is a porn star!" Said Doctor Vera while sneering and clapping her hands. "If that still does not convince you, we can have another DNA testing done. I'm very confident that the result will remain a match!"
Crossing her arms against her chest, the doctor said, "Fortunately, my husband is being detained for his fraudulent activities from the hospital."
Doctor Vera was adamant to get Soomin to confess that she continuously branded her a mistress, even attempting to repeat the slap to Soomin's face. She was being a typical wife who just found out about her husband's concubine! Not even the lawyers could stop her.
"So you have been pregnant for two months? How long have you been fucking my husband? Huh? No wonder my husband often went to the US! It was you all along!" Added Doctor Vera.
"You have to take responsibility for your actions - the pain you caused our marriage and the damages to my emotional state!"
Soomin and her mother had their mouths open wide in horror.
Turning to the Suns, the doctor asked permission, "Mrs. Sun, may I use your lawyers to file a concubinage case against this woman?"
"Yes, of course, Doctor Vera," answered Mi-Cha, acting to be concerned with the good doctor.
The Sun's lawyers were also quick to volunteer the information and said, "We can have Jeong Soomin in imprisoned for two years aside from pay for emotional damages!"
"No! No!" Screamed Soomin. She was in an incredible amount of panic.
That day was supposed to be smooth sailing for her. Doctor Leo promised that everything had already been taken care of. 'But why is this happening? I only fucked with that doctor once!'
Mi-Cha's lawyer said, "I'm drafting the formal complaint now. We can summon another DNA testing and file charges for concubinage against Jeong Soomin!"
"I am not a mistress!" Retorted Soomin. She turned to her mother for help but she was also in distress.
"You are a concubine! You are a mistress!" Doctor Vera kept repeating her words. She pointed a finger at Soomin and said, "You won't admit it?! How about I leak your videos to the public?! You'd be happy to have a sex scam on your name!"
Soomin lost her sanity at that point. The words prison, sex scam, and mistress echoed into her head again and again.
Her mind blacked out, and she failed to care any longer for Sun Haneul. In fury, she answered back with full conviction, "Listen to me, doctor! You have the wrong woman! I only fucked with your husband once and I only got pregnant last week! I am not the mistress you are talking about!"
There was silence in the room after Soomin's confession. Only she felt relieved for her words. She felt the doctor could no longer brand her as a mistress. The sex was only part of an exchange deal after all. It was money and sex for faking the DNA test.
"So you see! I am not your husband's mistress!" Soomin repeated.
Shiwoo and his family were shaking their heads, disgusted by the woman who was trying to trap Haneul. Mi-Cha and Haneul clenched their hands into fists, inwardly celebrating.
In the end, they became mere spectators. It was all thanks to Soomin's attempt to bribe a married man.
"Wait... wait... What? Why would you be pregnant again when you were already pregnant?" Asked Soomin's father. He was shifting his gaze from his daughter and the doctor, utterly baffled.
"It's very simple," said Haneul. "She was never pregnant in the first place. Soomin, faked her pregnancy report."
Turning to Chun-Ho, Haneul said, "Your turn Chun-Ho to show the Jeongs what else we have on them. Let's see if their lawsuit can still stand in court, given what we know about Soomin's supposed pregnancy."
