Tricking My Cold Lover

Iseul and Yeona: It's You

Iseul and Yeona: It's You

0Weeks passed again. It was the day of Yeona and Iseul's wedding.

Iseul went all out for their wedding and while it was not something that Yeona required, he wanted to treat his new wife the best wedding that he could possibly give while maintaining a unique concept.

After all, they were only going to get married once. It might as well make an impact, especially with the lingering misconception of some of Yeona's relatives, thanks to Soo-A and Haru.

Reserving a well-known brick-made western restaurant in the city, the wedding venue slowly became filled with guests from both sides. It was a perfect venue for their wine cellar theme wedding; dim and intimate looking.

The restaurant had a low, brick ceiling and had huge brick columns, looking a bit medieval from the inside. Huge wooden barrels were decorated on the side of the walls and empty bottles of wine were stacked along with supposed wine containers. It was meant only as a decoration but did the job so well, impressing all the guests at its design.

The entire venue looked like a huge wine cellar altogether.

From the ceiling were chandeliers, looking like lighted candles. It was scattered nearly every five meters above.

There weren't many flowers that surrounded the place, merely centerpieces on the tables and a few standing in each column, but the intimate and dim setting made it look so romantic. There was barely light coming through the closed windows and only the electric candlesticks, chandeliers, and yellow wall lamps illuminated the venue.

The place was huge enough to accommodate everyone they invited, despite it looking constrained on the inside.

Yeona and Iseul did not have that many visitors. Their guests only totaled to about a hundred fifty. Those from Iseul's side were mostly co-workers from Anton's underground base and the gun factory. Of course, Yeona and he had common friends from JKW Investments.

From Yeona's side, many of her relatives from the province came to attend the wedding. Her doubtful aunt and cousin also came, wanting to see her wedding for themselves. Of course, the ex, Tae-hwan also came, being Har's official date.

Soo-A and Haru tried not to look impressed at the arrangements, avoiding not to look at the exquisite utensils on the table and the golden candlesticks in the middle. They have also completely ignored the fact that the venue included two of the wealthiest families in the city; the Yeongs and the Suns.

With every muscle in their body, Yeona's aunt and cousin refused to acknowledge that Yeona was having a dream wedding. Inside, however, jealousy filled their hearts completely.

When the ceremony finally began, Chan-Mi was their only flower girl, throwing rose petals on a white carpet.

It took about minutes for all of Yeona's parents and other special members of the entourage to finish their march.

Not a moment too soon, the melody of It's You by Henry Lau played as her wedding entrance song.

~"Baby I'm falling head over heels

Looking for ways to let you know just how I feel

I wish I was holding you by my side

I wouldn't change a thing 'cause finally it's real"~

From the entrance of the venue, the earlier white curtains opened for Yeona to make her dramatic walk.

Yeona wore a mermaid dress style that flowed beautifully at the bottom. From her top down to her knees, her gown hugged her splendidly. From the top of her chest to her arms, seemingly only elegant pearls wrapped around her, giving that semi nude-like effect.

Her gown had pear embellishments, noticeable especially on her top. It then slowly faded, starting at her waist and her arms.

She held a bouquet of peach roses and daisies, generously surrounded with green leaves of various kinds.

Her head had one single rose, standing out on her pulled-back hair and everything else were white pearls, scattered on her back of her head.

Her veil, glittering while still revealing her beautiful face.

From the crowd, Yeona's parents were very emotional, but it would seem as though Lian was more sentimental. It was because she imagined herself walking down the aisle in the same romantic way.

Lian and Yanmei were seated back to back in different tables. She whispered to her cousin, "You and Ha-joon should get married too."

Wiping the tears in her eyes, Lian whispered back to Yanmei, "Yeah, I already ordered an engagement ring. In this day and age, I think women can ask the guy to get married, right?"

With eyes widening, Yanmei sneered and said back, "Eh, let's talk about this later."

Seeing Yeona's gown, Haru, her cousin, felt extremely envious. She thought Yeona married a security, but apparently he was a rich security. She sighed and said, 'How lucky can Yeona be?'

Haru was bitter beyond words. She stole Yeona's boyfriend, someone who had a bright future. She earnestly thought Tae-hwan was a good catch, but despite having high-paying jobs, both of them, she and Tae-hwan had lots of bills to pay, starting with credit cards.

Amongst everyone, however, it was Iseul who had the most nostalgic reaction, seeing his new wife walking closer and closer to him.

Iseul did not experience having a family, and he wanted to have one with Yeona. There were not enough words to express how that very moment was special for him. Being married would significantly mean, he would finally experience having a complete household, one he can call his own.

To Iseul's eyes, Yeona was the most beautiful that day, her small face was the brightest in the room.

Still walking three meters away from him, he could make out Yeona's words as she silently said, "I love you."

Iseul nodded, blinking several times and said back, "I love you."

Their words made no sounds, but they fully understood each other.

~"Cause you're the right time at the right moment

You're the sunlight, keeps my heart going

Oh, oh, I know when I'm with you, I can't keep myself from falling

Right time at the right moment

It's you"~

Yeona and Iseul were already facing each other as the song ended. Repeatedly they heard the words "It's You." They both valued the words in their hearts recognizing, they were meant for each other.
