Tricking My Cold Lover

Eun So and Nari were inside her private classroom, together with Luiz. They were done for that day's lesson, merely playing when the little girl noticed Eun So wipe a tear on her eye.      

"It's nothing," said Eun So. She forced a smile and said, "It's your uncle Haneul."     

"Are you fighting?" Nari asked innocently. "I can box uncle Haneul. Daddy taught me this." She got ready in her stance before thrusting out her fists. "Hiya! Hiya!"     

Turning to her study buddy, Nari called, "Luiz! Let's practice our kick and let's kick uncle Haneul!"     

Seeing the two little ones imagining kicking Haneul made Eun So laugh. It somehow eased her pain. However, she did not want Nari to have that perception of Haneul. She called to her and said, "Baby, uncle Haneul did not make me cry but a problem we have."     

She called for the two and let them both sit on her lap as she squatted on the floor. Out of nowhere, she said, "The two of you will grow to become best of friends. Always protect each other."     

"Well, Nari bullies me sometimes, Aunt," reported Luiz.      

"No! I'm not a bully, you are!" Nari countered.      

The two kids ended up in an argument until Eun So hugged them tightly. She said, "Don't ever argue. Aside from your family, you are each other's, only friend. You should take care of each other. You should love each other."     

There was no malice between the kids. Both Luiz and Nari truly consider each other as best friends. After hearing more advice from their aunt, they returned to play.      

"Miss Eun So, Chun-Ho called for you in the study." The maid said after entering the room.     

"Okay, please call Alma for me so she can look after the kids."     

When she arrived at the study, Haneul was also there with Chun-Ho. It looked like they had already started discussing the findings from Soomin's room.      

Haneul was once again heartbroken, seeing Eun So's puffed eyes. He walked towards her and embraced her tight. Fortunately, she hugged him back, and that made him feel reassured.     

He pecked the side of her face and softly whispered, "I love you, Eun So. You don't need to hurt because I only love you."     

Haneul received her nod and look up to him. He caressed her face and asked, "Did you get some sleep?"     

"Just a little... but I'll get better today," said Eun So. She forced a smile before finding a seat with Haneul.      

After seeing them both settled, Chun-Ho said, "Are you ready for this, Haneul? Because you are going to get really pissed."     

Haneul clenched his hand into a fist. He was already pissed after hearing about Soomin's secret drinking of coffee. He sighed and said, "Please tell me she is not pregnant."     

"I can't tell you that though for sure, but... she has Rohypnol in her bag. It was so hard to find, stashed in a secret pocket. Man, don't ever drink anything in her presence!" Told Chun-Ho.      

Rohypnol was one of the known date-rape drugs, commonly used in Europe back in the day. It was usually added to alcoholic drinks, further increasing the effects of the drug. It can cause drowsiness and blackouts. Most victims of the said drugs had no memory of the night before.      

"It does not answer whether she spiked your drink or not, but base on what you shared, having drunk only two bottles of beer yet, you had no idea what happened to you, I'd say, you were drugged!" Chun-Ho assumed.      

Chun-Ho then showed Haneul the message exchanges Soomin had with her mother, Young-mi. It did not contain all the details, but it was good enough to suggest there was a hidden scheme. Using his laptop, Chun-Ho showed the results of his hacking into Soomin's phone.      

Young-mi: "Have you done it already? Don't forget to add Viagra this time!"     

Soomin: "No, mom? How could I? He locks himself in his room! He does not drink anything I give him!"     

Young-mi: "We are done for if you can't sleep with him!"     

Young-mi: "You better get this right because our business is failing. Besides, didn't you say you've always liked Haneul?"     

Soomin: "Don't worry, mom. I have another solution! I'll go to the hospital where Aunt Mi-Cha wanted to have the DNA testing done. I'll take care of it."     

It stunned them to read the exchange between the mother and daughter. They had many questions in their heads, especially Eun So.      

"Did- did that mean nothing happened between you and Soomin?" Eun So asked. She felt as if a needle had been taken out of her chest.     

"Fuck, I can't believe this." Haneul rubbed his neck and said, "I don't even have the slightest memory of what happened!" Glancing at Eun So, he said, "I don't want to say for sure, but I've always believed I didn't."     

"It's possible. My research suggests Viagra is needed in addition to Rohypnol in order for." Chun-Ho coughed, covering his mouth with his fist before clarifying, "In order for her plans to work."     

"There is a big possibility that you had not... done it. She is most likely faking her pregnancy, along with the pregnancy reports that she presented to you and your mom. We still need to check the laboratories where she got documents."     

After covering a few more suspicious contacts and belongings of Soomin, Chun-Ho gave Haneul and Eun So time to digest everything, leaving them in Jae-won's study.      

Haneul's head was burning in resentment, just thinking about the trap that the Jeongs had orchestrated. He threw his head back, grunting in dismay as he said, "I can't believe there are such people in this world!"     

Eun So, on the other hand, was silent. She stood up and faced Haneul before she said, "So, most likely... nothing happened."      

She could not express the relief she received. It was because the idea of another woman in Haneul's arms was just too painful. She did not want it to be true. Eun So realized how much she did not want to share Haneul with anyone.      

In response to her earlier assumption, Haneul said, "I hope so, Eun So. What are you thinking?"     

"I feel so comforted. I - I can't imagine another woman touching you! It - It makes me so mad!" She answered in annoyance.     

Haneul stood up and put an arm around her waist. He put a hand on her cheek and said, "I'm sorry Eun So. I really am. Know that in my heart, I believe I could never have done it."      

After closing the gap between them, their eyes locked onto each other for seconds. Haneul could not help his desire. He was an inch away from Eun So's beautiful and delicate face. Even if her eyes were puffed, she remained angelic looking.      

Her lips were slightly parted, looking irresistible in his views.      

When he saw Eun So bite her lip, he sensed his heart beating like a drum. He took the chance and asked, "Can I - can I kiss you, Eun So? A real kiss this time?"     

She hesitated at first, but her longing for him outgrew. She nodded humbly, now turning crimson red and feeling anxious.      

Finally, they kissed.      

Haneul gave her feather-light kisses at first, but eventually, he started nibbling on her bottom lip. He kissed her so gently and slowly, allowing Eun So to follow his lead.      

They felt each other's warm breath and moist lips while pulling each other in a tighter embrace.      

They made out for almost a minute, and it absolutely took Eun So's breath away. When they let go, her eyes were dreamy. She was panting as she gazed on Haneul's thin lips, but while she was in dreamland, she felt something else... Something hard against her abdomen.      

She flushed again and said, "Wonder why she needed a Viagra for." She scoffed, thinking, 'I did not need a Viagra.'
