"Silly one!" Feng Jianyu hit the back of her head, receiving an accusing glare.

"Really?" Instead of coaxing her he crossed his arms before his chest. "And what about you hurt me by pulling another dangerous stunt? Do you have any idea what my condition was?"
Xiu Mei cleared her throat awkwardly. She knew this time she survived just by a small margin. Goosebumps broke on her skin thinking about Jianyu's condition. "I-I'm sorry! No more stunts! From today… No! From now onwards… Xiu Mei will not anything that might hurt her monster."
"I'll be a fool if I believe in this nonsense!" Feng Jianyu looked away from her face.
"Sorry… sorry… I'll do nothing stupid! Sorry sorry…. Millions of time sorry. I'm a stupid, silly, brainless, idiot, but a cute chipmunk who sometimes hurt her monster. Sorry!" Feng Jianyu saw her getting off the bed. But before he could stop her she placed her hand on her chest and winced. "Mei!" He frantically pulled her up and makes her lay down on the bed again. Undoing the buttons of her gown he started lecturing. "Just now said you'll not pull any more stunts but a second later here you are, ready with another stunt…..HAI!?!? Your stitches are intact! No blood! Then what hurts?" He runs his hand on her bandaged chest and found nothing wrong.
She snaked her arms around his neck and pulled him down. He landed above her, but because of fast reflexes balanced his weight on time. She nudged her nose on his. "Monster, am I forgiven or do you want more acting?" Feng Jianyu had just opened his mouth to say something, but that was the opportunity for Xiu Mei to take his lips for a deep kiss, shoving her tongue inside his mouth.
"Mmmm…" Feng Jianyu's protesting voice stuck at the back of his throat when she clenched his hair in her fist and angled his head to fit her mouth properly. Feng Jianyu can't control and responded to her kiss, fully cooperating wherever she made him tilt his head. She licked the seam of his mouth. "Should I continue or am I forgiven?" She looked into his eyes.
"Grrrrrr….." Feng Jianyu growled as he took over the kiss. After devouring her to his satisfaction, he pulled her lower lips outwards. "Not so easily."
"I'm ready for pleasure punishment." Xiu Mei instantly started unbuttoning Feng Jianyu's shirt's buttons, anticipation building up in her core.
He frowned and bites on her neck.

"Chipmunk…. Is your body physically ready to accept a lovemaking session? Do you think you can bear my strength in this condition?" He scolded her. "It's not even a few days since your accident, and you already started behaving like a horny wife."
"If this is not my punishment than what it is?" She sulked, peaking at his chest muscles inside the shirt.
"Stop gawking! Redo the buttons. NOW!"
"Yes…. I'm doing. No need to scold. Stingy!" She muttered, reluctantly buttoning up his shirt. "Done! Now get off me!"
Feng Jianyu brushed her hair off of her face. "No need to sulk! This time your punishment is to never leave my side, never stop loving me and do nothing that might put your life in danger. You're only allowed to stay happy and brighten my day with the charming smile of yours. And most importantly…. No more messing with villains. For that, you have a husband."
Xiu Mei chuckled, she nodded her head. "Yes, your majesty."

The pillow brushing against her head made her realize she was missing something important.
"What's wrong?" Feng Jianyu asked.
"Get off me, I want to check something."
She instantly runs her hand in her hair. Feeling panicked she looked around, at the medicine table, under the pillow. "Where is it?"
"Are you looking for this?"
Xiu Mei's head snapped at Feng Jianyu who was holding a thing in his hand, looking at her with raised eyebrows.
Her thin lips tightened into a straight line. Her voice came extremely low. "Yeah… I-I saw it on Yang Sheng's table. Stupid man was using it as a paperweight! Moron!" She extended her hand to take it but Feng Jianyu dodged it. "I know I promised you to stop looking for the diamond you lost because of me. But when I saw it, my brain went out of my control, my hands automatically rushed towards it, and my body cooperated with my brain and hands."
When Yang Sheng brought Xiu Mei to his study, she noticed the diamond on his table. As the study had no camera, and the access was exclusive to Yang Sheng, he was carefree about the diamond and always kept it in front of his eyes.
Whenever he saw the diamond, it reminded him of his victory over Feng Jianyu. So what if it was snatched from Alice, he would still consider it a victory over Feng Jianyu as this was the latter's family heirloom, their lucky charm and the one that brought Feng Corporation back to its glory.
The night when the diamond was snatched from Alice, Yang Sheng was doubtful of Yang Mi and Yang Shao's intentions regarding the diamond, so he had sent Hu Chi after the man who was assigned the task to steal the diamond. As the man was in his control due to the device in his brain, he instantly gave it to Hu Chi with no objection.
It was only later that Yang Mi and Yang Shao came to know that the diamond was with Yang Sheng. Their plan to kill the thief and keeping the diamond for themselves failed because of Yang Sheng's forward-thinking.

While talking to Yang Sheng, Xiu Mei smartly sat down over to his study table, acting oblivious to the diamond. Trapping Yang Sheng by her words…. in the pretext of tying her hair, she hid the diamond, securing the bun with multiple paper clips.
